Job Description

Coordinate domestic and international freight and logistics operations.

Manage customs clearance, import/export documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Obtain freight quotations, negotiate transportation rates, and optimize logistics costs.

Prepare, verify, and maintain logistics documents including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping documentation.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and logistics partners.

Plan and monitor road, air, and rail transportation for timely deliveries.

Manage project site deliveries, fleet coordination, and multi-location dispatch planning.

Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics-related issues.

Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare performance reports.

Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs regulations, and international trade standards

Requirements

Strong knowledge of domestic and international freight operations.
Excellent understanding of Incoterms (EXW, FCA, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.).
Experience in customs clearance and import/export documentation.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Ability to analyze freight costs and optimize logistics operations.
Proficiency in logistics documentation and transportation planning.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple logistics projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in Freight & Logistics Management.
Hands-on experience with road, air, rail transportation, and international import/export operations.
Experience in project site deliveries, fleet coordination, and dispatch planning.
Certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Import & Export is an added advantage.
