Senior Executive Finance Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior executive Finance Operations to support the reconciliation and payment operations function at Wego. The role will handle payment gateway reconciliation, BSP and consolidator/LCC settlements, accounts payable/receivable reconciliation,Working closely with the Finance Operations team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation of payment gateway settlements against internal booking records
• Reconcile BSP (IATA Billing and Settlement Plan) transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Support consolidator and LCC (low-cost carrier) reconciliations, matching supplier SOAs to internal ledgers
• Identify, investigate, and escalate reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals in NetSuite
• Maintain and improve SOPs and process documentation for reconciliation workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, vendor management) to resolve payment/data issues
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance operations, reconciliation, or accounting (OTA/travel/e-commerce background a plus)
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
  
  

• Attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume transaction environments
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for discrepancy investigation
• Familiarity with payment gateways, BSP/IATA settlement processes (preferred, not mandatory)
• Good communication skills for cross-team and vendor coordination
  
  

• Prior exposure to travel/OTA industry finance operations
• Experience with automation tools (RPA, scripting) for reconciliation
• Exposure to GDS systems (Sabre, Travelport)
