Senior Devops Engineer

Job Requirements

Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-native deployments, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and production-grade monitoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with native Kubernetes (on‑prem and cloud), Linux system fundamentals, and end‑to‑end DevOps practices. This position is responsible for software builds and releases as well as improving the technology solutions for the team.

Work Experience

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, manage, and optimize server and cloud environments
• Set up, administer, and maintain native Kubernetes clusters on-premise, including Helm-based deployments and manifest files.
• Manage Linux servers ensuring high availability, performance, and efficient administration.
  
  

• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Deploy and manage microservices via Kubernetes, Helm charts, and custom resource definitions.
• Implement zero‑downtime deployments, scaling strategies, and cluster maintenance.
  
  

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring robust build, test, and deployment automation.
• Work with Ansible for configuration management (preferred but not mandatory).
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve team velocity and reduce manual interventions.
  
  

• Install, configure, and maintain Prometheus for metrics collection and Grafana with Loki for visualization dashboards.
• Implement robust alerting and notification systems integrated with operational channels.
• Optimize monitoring strategies to ensure proactive detection of system issues.
  
  

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in server deployments, Linux administration, and production maintenance.
• In-depth experience with Docker and Kubernetes (both on-prem and cloud).
• Strong proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (Ansible exposure preferred).
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing Grafana and Prometheus.
• Experience integrating alerting and notification systems.
• Solid command of Helm, Kubernetes manifests, and workload orchestration. tion.
