Akamais InfoSec Team protects infrastructure and promotes security practices. The Security Compliance team collaborates across departments to ensure systems meet safety and compliance requirements.

Compliance Advisor drive Akamais security audit success. This role involves analyzing compliance standards and explaining how Akamais systems meet stringent security requirements.

As a Senior InfoSec & Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for:

• Owning and driving security compliance initiatives to completion across APJ/EMEA.
• Maintaining knowledge of security standards, monitoring advancements, and ensuring compliance.
• Identifying systemic security gaps, assessing control effectiveness, and advising on risk exposure.
• Providing management with insights on control weaknesses and designing strategic improvements.
• Serving as an SME for audits, guiding risk management, and aligning cross-functional teams.
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Bring 12+ of experience in IT security, risk management, cyber, IT audit, or related areas.
• Demonstrate expertise in industry compliance standards like PCI, SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, IRAP, FedRAMP.
• Have a desire to improve information security and have a learning mindset.
• Have negotiation skills to simplify complex regulations and align compliance with business goals.
• Have experience with compliance software, GRC tools, and audit management systems.
