What Youll Do At Pega

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls in AWS and GCP to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Automate security operations and workflows using scripting languages such as Python or Golang
• Develop, enforce, and continuously improve security policies, standards, and procedures
• Analyze complex security challenges, propose robust solutions, and drive their implementation end-to-end.
• Act as a trusted security advisor, providing guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams.
• Stay ahead of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to strengthen cloud security posture.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2-6+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security, focusing on AWS or GCP
• Expertise in AWS Security services and EDR tools
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, policies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Golang)
• Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, source code management, and containerization.
  
  

• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions (e. g., Trend Micro, CrowdStrike).
• Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience building applications with API integrations.
• Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
