Cloud Security and Network Engineering (CSNE) is responsible for solving low-layer needs of Pega Cloud clients. The team relies on decades of IT experience to rapidly architect, develop and deploy solutions for complex security and networking problems. CSNE is process-oriented and adopts LEAN principles to continuously improve solution speed and quality. CSNE partners closely with the Cloud Service Reliability and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure every solution is secure, reliable, available, and observable.

What Youll Do At Pega

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure using AWS EKS, Terraform, CloudFormation, and other tools
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Lambda, and Ansible to streamline cloud development tasks
• Lead and collaborate with other teams to develop and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on cloud development, security, and networking issues
• Represent CSNE in the incident management and resolution processes
  
  

• Passionate about cloud technologies and well versed with Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Ansible
• Experience with CICD and source control tools (Jenkins, Git, Subversion etc.)
• Experience with SDLC and DevSecOps processes and technologies
• Have knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
• Understand cloud security and networking concepts and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• 4+ years of relevant experience
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in cloud technologies
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Lambda, and configuration management tool such as Ansible
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
• Knowledge of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN
• Expertise in cloud security and networking
• Created project that uses API integration.
• Good with troubleshooting and RCA using monitoring data and log analysis
