Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the Atlanta, GA area to support the Genesis Food Enterprise Data Transformation Program, focused on modernizing and standardizing enterprise data across commercial, supply chain, and operational domains. This role bridges business and technology—translating complex requirements into clear, implementation-ready solutions while enabling alignment across stakeholders and supporting scalable data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Gather and document business, functional, and data requirements across core domains (Customer, Product, Orders, Pricing, Invoicing, etc.)
• Translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
• Develop source-to-target mappings and data transformation rules
  
  

Data & Solution Support

• Analyze current-state processes and data flows to identify gaps and standardization opportunities
• Partner with Data Architects to align with enterprise data models and integration patterns
• Define data quality rules and validation requirements
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across business and technical teams
• Clearly communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Document decisions, risks, and dependencies
  
  

Delivery & Execution

• Support Agile delivery (backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT)
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure clarity and delivery readiness
  
  

Governance & Quality

• Align with data governance on definitions, ownership, and critical data elements
• Promote consistency, quality, and transparency across solutions
  
  

Required Qualifications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 7–10+ years of Business Analysis experience, with strong technical/data focus
• Experience on data initiatives (data warehousing, integration, analytics platforms)
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical/data requirements
• Agile experience and strong stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, SQL, and process/data modeling tools
• Understanding of data structures, APIs, and integration concepts

• Knowledge of the Food and Ag Industry
• Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or order-to-cash
• Familiarity with data modeling and enterprise data architecture
• Knowledge of data governance and modern data platforms
• Preferred location is Atlanta GA
