About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build high-throughput, low-latency systems powering a real-time trading platform.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-stakes environments (fintech, payments, banking) and understands that data accuracy + system reliability = everything.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & own scalable backend microservices for real-time trading
• Ensure high availability & data consistency across distributed systems
• Build integrations with financial systems (payments, KYC, clearing, settlement)
• Define engineering standards, API design & testing strategies
• Handle production reliability & on-call responsibilities
• Mentor engineers & contribute to a strong engineering culture
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years backend experience with Golang & Java (production)
• Strong hands-on with PostgreSQL, Redis
• Experience with Kafka / NATS / RabbitMQ
• Expertise in REST / gRPC APIs (scaling, rate limiting, versioning)
• Understanding of financial systems (ledger, reconciliation, order lifecycle)
• Experience with microservices & distributed architectures
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, CI/CD
• Strong debugging & incident response skills
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in brokerage / fintech / neo-bank / payments
• Exposure to clearing broker integrations
• Understanding of regulatory & compliance requirements
• Experience with Elasticsearch / Typesense
• Background in performance & latency optimization
