Description

Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, and API Automation – The API testing component requires expertise in various types of testing, including handling authentication, authorization, negative scenarios, and understanding JSON Web Token

Requirements

Yrs of Exp 6-8 yrs.

End-to-End Automation Development Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web applications using Selenium with Java and Playwright with TypeScript.

You will leverage the Page Object Model (POM) to ensure modularity and ease of maintenance.

API Testing & Validation Design and execute automated API test suites using REST Assured.

You will perform deep-level validation of response codes, payloads, and data integrity to ensure backend reliability.

Test Strategy & Execution Lead the full testing lifecycle, including Test Planning, Test Case Design, and execution. You will be responsible for diverse testing types, including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Functional Testing.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration Integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle via GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Harness pipelines. Ensure a “Shift-Left” approach where tests run automatically upon code submission.

Cross-Browser & Responsive Testing Utilize LambdaTest to ensure application compatibility across various browser versions and mobile responsive views, identifying UI inconsistencies before they reach production.

Behavior Driven Development (BDD) Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements in Gherkin syntax using Cucumber, bridging the gap between technical implementation and business requirements.

Defect Management & Agile Collaboration Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. Use Jira for meticulous defect tracking, reporting, and management, ensuring all bugs are documented and resolved according to priority.

Job responsibilities

To deliver high quality automation scripts, execution and test plans, results, etc.. engineering deliverables and guide team with best practices to be highly performant.

You will be 100% hands on delivering QA engineer.

Convert business specifications into scenarios

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and alone.

Working experience in Agile methodology.

Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures

Working in an internationally distributed team;

Communicate with PM, PO, other engineers, leads, architects, QA and other colleagues and stakeholders;

Participation on delivering the product roadmap, plannings, creation of estimations;

Thinking out of the box to come up with solutions that scaleand be a success at the team level
