Career Framework Job Description: Responsible for executing predefined test cases, reporting bugs, and assisting in maintaining testing documentation. Executes automated test scripts utilizing various testing tools and frameworks. Runs tests as outlined in test plans to ensure that software functions as expected. Identifies defects, inconsistencies, and issues in the software, and communicating these to the relevant teams. Creates test cases or updates and maintains test cases, test plans, and other quality assurance and engineering documents to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness. Collaborating with internal teams to understand requirements, replicate issues, and ensure that testing efforts align with project goals. Utilizes manual and automated tools and frameworks to create and update tests that enhance testing efficiency and accuracy. Identifies quality concerns from development and testing and escalates quality concerns to manager. Stays abreast of latest trends, tools, and technologies in quality assurance to ensure that the testing practices remain cutting-edge and effective. No direct reports. May offer guidance to less experienced colleagues as necessary. Allocates tasks and monitors the quality of work. Accountable for medium- and long-term tasks, and completion of assigned daily tasks and projects. Works under direct supervision to support small and/or less complex clients and/or projects. Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Often a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with the necessary competencies.
