Senior AI/ML Software Use cases Validation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) to lead validation of AI/ML compute stacks and Physical AI SDKs. The role focuses on end‑to‑end AI pipeline validation, benchmarking, and performance optimization across Linux platforms, aligned with real customer use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Validation of AI/ML compute stacks on Ubuntu and Yocto
• Define and execute validation plans covering functional, performance, stress, regression, and scalability testing
• Own defect lifecycle including triage, root cause analysis, and closure
• Validate end‑to‑end AI pipelines:
• Model training, conversion, and optimization (e.g., PyTorch → ONNX)
• Kernel execution, memory transfers, and inference accuracy
• Define and run AI benchmarking and profiling for training and inference workloads
• Validate AI frameworks and runtimes (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime)
• Execute workloads on ROCm/HIP, CUDA, OpenCL, and heterogeneous accelerators
• Build and maintain Python‑based automation for validation, benchmarking, and reporting
• Mentor junior engineers and clearly communicate quality and performance metrics
  
  

Technical

• 4–8 years experience in AI/ML validation
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills
• Solid ML fundamentals including deep learning , LLMs HIP, CUDA, OpenCL, and TensorFlow/PyTorch integrations
• Hands‑on experience with ROCm validation and end‑to‑end AI pipeline validation experience
• Strong Linux expertise (Ubuntu, Yocto)

• Performance‑driven validation mindset with focus on release readiness

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Benchmarking on CPU, GPU, and AI accelerators
• Performance tuning of large models (memory optimization, mixed precision)
  
  
  

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, Robotics, Electronics, or related field.
