About The Role

This role exists to give Aspora complete control over every rupee, dollar, and dirham moving across our banks and partners. As we scale across five geographies, every payment leaves a trail. Someone has to make sure those trails reconcile to the last digit, on time, every time.

Youll sit at the centre of finance, treasury, and platform engineering. Youll own daily and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, wallets, and accounting ledgers. When numbers dont match, you find the why before anyone else asks.

Location: Bangalore. In-office five days a week.

What Youll Own

• Own daily and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, wallets, and accounting ledgers
• Drive end-to-end bank reconciliations and resolve unreconciled items within cut-off windows
• Track funds in transit across banks and partners, with full control over every fund movement
• Reconcile intercompany transfers across entities and close intercompany balances monthly
• Partner with treasury, banking partners, and platform engineering to unblock close, audits, and compliance reviews
  
  

Who You Are

• 3-6 years in bank reconciliations and intercompany accounting, ideally at a regulated fintech or multi-entity business.
• CA or CMA semi-qualified, or equivalent professional accounting background
• Strong command of Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and the lookups that actually find the break
• Hands-on with ERP and accounting tools like Zoho or NetSuite
• High ownership. You treat unreconciled items as yours until theyre closed.
• Street-smart on discrepancies: you find the root cause, not the workaround
• Strong advantages: exposure to cross-border or multi-currency reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of payment partner reporting is a plus.
