Experience Required - 15 - 25+ years in academia and/or industry, including senior leadership roles, IIM, XLRI, ISB - Alumni will be preferred.

About The Opportunity

DSU Bengaluru is looking for an accomplished academic leader to head strategic direction for its School of Management. The role involves driving academic excellence, research output, accreditation readiness, and industry engagement, positioning the School among India's leading management institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and academic leadership for a School of Management, including curriculum design, program development, and quality assurance.Lead accreditation initiatives (NAAC, NBA, AACSB/AMBA/EQUIS as applicable) and ensure regulatory compliance with UGC/AICTE norms.Recruit, mentor, and retain high-quality faculty; foster a strong research and publication culture.Build and strengthen industry partnerships for placements, internships, executive education, and applied research/consulting.Drive student outcomes — admissions quality, placement performance, and overall student experience.Represent the School in national/international academic forums, rankings (NIRF, QS, etc.), and collaborations with global universities.Manage budgets, resources, and administrative operations of the School in coordination with University leadership.Champion innovation in pedagogy, including case-based learning, experiential learning, and technology-enabled teaching.

Candidate Profile

PhD/Fellow from a Tier-1 institute (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, JBIMS, or equivalent reputed Indian/international university).Minimum 15 years of combined academic and/or industry leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior academic leadership role.Strong record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals and grant/consulting projects.Prior exposure to accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA/AACSB) strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to build industry linkages and drive placement/executive education outcomes.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and institution-building capabilities.Eligibility as per UGC Regulations for appointment as a senior academic leader/Professor at a private university.
