Job Overview:

As a Manager DevOps specializing in GCP within our Retail practice, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation to accelerate software delivery. Success in this role means streamlining deployment processes, ensuring system reliability, and enabling agile, continuous development aligned with business goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with data science, software engineering, and business teams to drive measurable impact.

This role is critical in supporting Tredence’s mission to deliver practical AI solutions with operational excellence. What will your role look like?: - Lead the development, implementation, and management of DevOps strategies on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for retail domain projects. - Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management. - Build, optimize, and monitor CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrating containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and operations teams to troubleshoot and improve deployment workflows. - Ensure compliance with security best practices and governance standards in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes. - Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team. - Drive innovation in DevOps tooling and best practices to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

You will need: - Demonstrate 7-12 years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. - Apply expertise in infrastructure as code, especially Terraform, to automate cloud infrastructure deployments. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring smooth, repeatable deployments. - Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes for scalable application deployments. - Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or equivalent technical qualification. - Exhibit strong understanding of DevOps principles and agile methodologies with excellent problem-solving skills. Good to Have Skills: - Gain certifications in Google Cloud (e.g., Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) or related DevOps/cloud technologies. - Utilize scripting languages (Python, Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiencies. - Experience working in the retail industry or supporting retail-focused applications and workloads. - Participate in site reliability engineering (SRE) practices and implement monitoring/logging solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. - Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
