SDET QA Engineer

We are seeking highly skilled Quality Engineering professionals with strong experience in testing .NET-based distributed applications across UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end business workflows. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in automation testing, API validation, event-driven architecture testing, asynchronous workflow validation, and modern quality engineering practices integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires hands-on experience in validating complex enterprise applications, ensuring seamless cross-service interactions, and supporting modernization initiatives involving coexistence between legacy and modern .NET platforms. Candidates should be capable of driving quality assurance strategies in Agile environments while collaborating closely with development, product, DevOps, and architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test strategies for distributed .NET applications across UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end workflows.

Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, integration, and regression testing.

Validate REST APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and asynchronous business workflows.

Perform cross-service validation to ensure seamless interaction between distributed systems and integrated platforms.

Execute testing for modernization programs involving coexistence between legacy and modern .NET applications.

Develop automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality validation.

Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Conduct integration, system, smoke, sanity, and regression testing across multiple environments.

Identify, track, and manage defects while ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.

Validate regional business variations, configurable workflows, and environment-specific behaviors.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Support performance, reliability, and stability testing initiatives where required.

Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation coverage, and release quality.

Quality engineering professional responsible for ensuring reliability, scalability, and functional accuracy of .NET full-stack enterprise applications within logistics and supply chain transformation programs. Strong experience testing distributed systems across UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end business workflows involving operational dashboards, planner systems, event-driven processes, and backend services. Expertise in automation-first quality engineering practices, asynchronous workflow validation, and CI/CD-integrated testing models across modern cloud-native and legacy coexistence environments. Ability to collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, architects, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases and production readiness.

Must-Have Skills

Strong experience in Quality Engineering and testing of .NET-based enterprise applications

Automation testing experience using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools

API testing and validation using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or equivalent tools

Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures

Experience validating asynchronous workflows, message queues, and integration patterns

Proficiency in test automation using C# and .NET technologies

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated quality gates

Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Jira, and test management tools

Strong experience in regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end workflow validation

SQL/database validation and backend testing knowledge

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software testing lifecycle

Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience testing enterprise-scale distributed applications and modernization programs

Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud platforms

Experience validating coexistence between legacy systems and modern microservices platforms

Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or event-streaming technologies

Performance testing experience using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools

Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow or ReqnRoll

Domain experience in banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, or enterprise products

Exposure to security testing, observability, and monitoring tools

ISTQB, Agile Testing, or automation-related certifications preferred
