Role Summary:
The Scrum Master for the Microgrid Software Product Development team will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and enabling high-performing Agile teams working on key Microgrid offers. This role requires passion, proactive leadership, and expertise in Agile methodologies, Jira reporting, iObeya-based PI planning, and cross-chapter collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach Agile teams to embrace Agile values, mindset, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
- Drive Jira board management, dashboard creation, metrics analysis, and reporting.
- Enable Virtual PI Planning using iObeya, facilitating breakout sessions and dependency mapping.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve impediments to protect team focus and flow.
- Collaborate with Agile Excellence and contribute to Agile maturity uplift across chapters.
- Ensure adoption of OLM practices, DoR/DoD, and predictable delivery.
- Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and foster positive team culture.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, IVV, Quality, Cloud, and Product Management.
- Promote knowledge-sharing, coaching, and team collaboration mindset.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software product teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Experience running PI Planning and virtual planning sessions using iObeya.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and Agile principles.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Passionate, proactive, team-oriented, and capable of energizing teams.
Preferred Skills:
- SAFe or Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SASM).
- Experience working in Microgrid, Energy, DERMS, or related software domains.
- Knowledge of Jira dashboards, reporting, and analytics.
