Job Description:

Looking for Consultants, Senior consultants for Supply Chain & Operations team in Business Consulting service line for EY Global delivery services. The employee is expected to work on Machine Learning and Optimization models related to Supply Chain.

Desired profile and skills:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering from Tier-1 institutes with 4-8 years of analytics experience developing ML and Optimization models
• Experience in designing, building, and delivering bespoke solutions across the value chain – Demand Forecasting, Clustering, Inventory and Logistics Optimization
• Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Functions such as Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics is essential
• Understanding of supply chain business metrics, key drivers, experience in deriving insights and foresights, converting data to decisions
• Experience in communicating inferences and insights through effective use of visualization tools to stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset, design thinking, a passion for problem solving and innovative use of modelling methodologies.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for client and management is an essential part of the role
• Experience in a consulting firm and global exposure is desirable
• Effective communication skills and experience in customer facing role is required
• Experience In – Python/R, SQL, Visualization - Power BI/Tableau
• Experience in building simple user interface is good to have, either Python based or Java Based
• Experience in working with big data
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and highly focused individual would be a best fit for this role
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will work with the extended team and/or client to design and deliver actionable supply chain focused projects
• Candidate would have to acquire knowledge of new data analytics tools
• Primary roles will be (but not limited to):
• Deliver as part of a globally diverse consulting team entrusted with the task of delivering Supply Chain engagements for clients across various Industry Groups
• Design and deliver and maintain solutions
• Review and validate data and further build optimization models, analytical reports, and presentations
