Sales Development Representative

The Opportunity:

Are you a high-energy sales professional eager to qualify leads and nurture opportunities? Join our innovative, multi-national organization where you can truly excel and be rewarded.In this key role within our new Demand Generation / Demand Centre division, youll proactively handle outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads, directly impacting our success. You’ll serve as the bridge between marketing and sales, building relationships through various marketing activities, such as events, campaigns, direct mail, and email.Your goal will be to qualify leads from marketing campaigns, set on-site appointments with Account Executives, and ensure quotes are delivered. This role focuses primarily on the EMEA Market.

What youll be doing

• Generate opportunities and or appointments and by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
• Work directly with marketing to discover opportunities from leads and set opportunities or appointments from those leads.
• Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified opportunities.
• Consistent use of sales approach and techniques based on product or service solutions.
• Log, track and maintains prospect/customer contact and contact records.
• Working closely with inside sales and sales attend sales meetings, occasional vendor training, host at local trade shows.

Who you are ?

• Some experience of delivering B2B solution sales, with a strong preference for storage / backup industry background
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Strong phone and written customer communication skills. Highly articulate.
• Fluent business level English.
• Understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
• Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications; Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.
