Job Description

• Understand and uphold the Vision and Mission of the University.
• Lead and motivate supervisors and support staff for the efficient functioning of the hostel.
• Maintain positive relationships with students and their parents.
• Supervise mess operations, maintain supply records, and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Ensure warden presence in the hostel office and mess during designated hours.
• Take daily attendance, monitor room cleanliness, interact with students, and enforce hostel regulations.
• Identify and report prohibited items or disciplinary issues to the Deputy Chief Warden/Chief Warden.
• Identify students requiring guidance or counseling and refer them through appropriate channels.
• Monitor and supervise the daily work of hostel supervisors and support staff.
• Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requirements with concerned departments.
• Conduct regular late-night rounds to ensure safety, discipline, and compliance.
• Provide immediate assistance to sick students, arrange medical care, and keep the Chief Warden and Deputy Chief Warden informed.
