Position Overview

The Regional Training Manager (Operations) will deliver and implement training interventions across the region to strengthen adherence to SOPs, improve service quality, and reinforce safety and security standards. Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Head and functionally guided by the Head – Training (Operations), this role will be the bridge between regional operations and the national training framework, acting as an implementation engine with a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Purpose

To drive regional execution of operational training and awareness programs that directly impact service quality, SOP compliance, safety, and shipment security. Alongside training delivery, the role will actively contribute to continuous improvement by identifying gaps, suggesting enhancements, and supporting process optimization to make training more effective and impactful.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Training Delivery


  • Conduct classroom, floor-based, and digital training sessions for staff across hubs, branches, and last mile.
  • Deliver refresher training on process adherence, shipment handling, and customer service.
  • Partner with Safety & Security teams to conduct awareness sessions on road safety, shipment security, and loss prevention.


Capability Building


  • Reinforce compliance to SOPs and service quality standards through targeted training interventions.
  • Use innovative tools such as gamification, case studies, and microlearning to improve learner engagement.
  • Support rollout of region-specific capability programs aligned with national frameworks.


Assessment, Impact & Continuous Improvement


  • Conduct post-training assessments to measure retention and application of knowledge.
  • Track improvement in SOP compliance, service quality scores, and reduction in operational errors.
  • Provide structured feedback on gaps, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement to the Head – Training (Operations).
  • Recommend practical process improvements and enhancements to training delivery for greater impact.


Collaboration


  • Work with regional leaders to identify local training needs.
  • Share insights on training effectiveness and regional challenges to improve national frameworks.
  • Act as the regional champion for operations capability building and continuous improvement


Qualifications & Experience

Education:


  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Diploma/Certification in Training, Facilitation, or Logistics preferred.


Experience:


  • 6 - 7 years of experience in training, operations, or capability development within logistics, courier, or supply chain industries.
  • Hands-on experience in delivering training programs to frontline or operational staff.
  • Exposure to service quality, safety, or SOP compliance training is desirable.


Skills & Capabilities

Technical Skills:


  • Knowledge of branch, hub, and last-mile operational processes.
  • Familiarity with training delivery tools and digital platforms.
  • Ability to contextualize training content for regional and frontline teams.
