Position Overview

The production planner is a key professional in Ball, and coordinates and manages production schedules to ensure efficient workflow, timely delivery, and optimal use of resources.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize capacity utilization.
• Coordinate with production, customer fulfilment, and purchasing teams to adjust schedules based on changing priorities, material availability, or operational constraints.
• Monitor production progress and generate routine reports on workflow, inventory levels, production rates, and costs.
• Identify and resolve production issues such as material shortages, manpower gaps, or equipment downtime using problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Optimize processes and workflow efficiency, suggesting improvements to reduce bottlenecks, minimize costs, and maintain process quality
• Working with the supply chain managers / team leaders, ensure that resources—including labour, materials, and machinery—are properly allocated and pre-arranged for smooth operations
• Maintain effective communication with management and stakeholders regarding schedule status, potential risks, and adjustments
  
  
  

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 1 to 5 years' experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations.
• University degree in supply chain/business or engineering.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to support production planning and operational efficiency.
• Strong Excel and automation skills.
• Well-versed in Demand Supply and ways to optimize them.
• Communication Skills: The ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Change Management: The ability to effectively implement and adapt to changes in plans, processes, or operational conditions.
