Job Description

Role Purpose

The Quantity Surveyor supports cost control and procurement by preparing accurate bills of quantities, cost estimates, and measurement verification

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BoQs) from architectural and engineering drawings
Verify measurements and quantities from contractor bills
Assist in tender documentation preparation
Track material quantities against procurement and site usage
Support in preparing cost comparison statements for procurement decisions
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
BoQ accuracy: BoQs delivered with less than 3% variance from actual quantities
Bill verification: All contractor bills verified within
Must-Have Qualifications
2–4 years QS experience in construction
B.E. Civil Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in quantity take-off from AutoCAD drawings
MS Excel advanced cost sheets and comparison statements
Good-to-Have Qualifications
RICS or AIQS affiliate membership
High-rise residential experience
Key Competencies
Measurement accuracy
AutoCAD reading
Excel proficiency
Analytical thinking
