We are looking for an exceptional Technical Project Manager (TPM) to manage and drive next generation offers in our portfolio of energy storage and EVSE product lines. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving execution of technically complex programs in alignment with technical and business goals. The candidate will a member of the Technical Project Management group, working in close collaboration with engineering, product owners, industrialization and supply chain, business stakeholders and peer TPMs.

What will you do?

  • Driving Strategic Alignment: TPMs work with product, engineering and operations leadership to develop timelines, roadmaps and goals and ensure initiatives support business objectives. Co-ordinate and ensure collaboration and high productivity across teams.
  • Orchestrate and manage technical execution:
    • Lead the project team through the Offer Creation Process - defining, scoping and executing the deliverables and collaborative activities throughout the phases of the offer lifecycle.
    • Build and maintain the detailed project schedule with work breakdown structures and defined milestones, managing dependencies and aligning roadmaps. Coordinate across multiple technical disciplines (HW, FW, SW, Mechanical, and Compliance) and cross-functional groups to define scope and deliverables for each feature and/or requirements.
    • Anticipate risks, surface trade-offs, and coordinate across teams. Identify critical paths or resource deficiencies and escalate to functional managers and leadership.
    • Organize sprints and critical planning meetings. Using frameworks like Agile, Scrum Waterfall or hybrids, TPMs track progress of the workstreams and their milestones, run stand-ups or steering meetings, and escalate risks.
    • Lead and conduct all technical reviews in collaboration with Chief Engineers, drive Go / No-Go decisions for product change requests (PCRs).
    • Use collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence and JAMA, to help maintain visibility of workstreams and documentation, and keep teams on track.
    • Ensure requirements are developed timely and of high quality, from marketing to systems to subsystems, to aid design teams in efficient and focused development that drives customer satisfaction and business growth.
    • Cross-Team Synchronization: TPMs act as the single point of accountability for the program team. They coordinate sprint plans, facilitate signoffs, and ensure teams are ready for launch, preventing friction across departments. Collaborate with product owners, chief engineers and cross-functional leads for effective planning and reporting.
    • Stakeholder Communication and Trust-Building: TPMs deliver tailored updates, such as architectural summaries and development schedules for tech leads, development progress and demo readiness for product owners, and executive summaries and deep dive discussions for leadership. By proactively managing expectations, they foster trust and alignment across the organization. TPMs represent the voice of engineering and the program to the organization.
    • Continuous Improvement: Define, develop strategy, best practices, processes, and tools for technical program management, in collaboration with peer TPMs and other departments.

    What qualifications will make you successful?

    • 5+ years of strong multi-disciplinary experience in design and development across electronics hardware, embedded systems, firmware and mechanical engineering.
    • 2+ years of technical leadership experience with proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs from concept through execution in hardware-software integrated environments.
    • Demonstrated ability to dive into technical issues and support teams in identifying root causes, trade-offs, and timely mitigations.
    • Strong project schedule management skills with detailed work breakdowns and risk management
    • Sound business and technical acumen, and ability to prioritize work as appropriate.
    • Fosters team collaboration and strives for continuous improvement.
    • Attention to detail, critical and analytical thinker, strong problem-solving skills, proactive and decisive in a fast-paced work environment to keep programs on track for scope and schedule.
    • Knowledge of agile methodology. Leadership and stakeholder participation in all agile activities including, but not limited to, scrums, sprint planning and retrospectives.
    • Excellent communication skills with transparency and accountability. Driven and able to complete work autonomously and lead teams under pressure.
    • Previous experience in a dynamic work environment with global teams spread across multiple time zones.
    • Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence and JAMA
    • Familiarity with interconnection standards, safety and certification requirements (e.g., UL 9540, IEEE 1547, NEC), and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FERC, NERC, state-level energy policy).
