Project Engineer - Industrial Automation

Actemium India, a subsidiary of VINCI Energies, is a dedicated business unit specializing in design, engineering, supply, installation, and commissioning for electrical, instrumentation, and automation in process industries, turnkey robotic solutions as well turnkey substation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Software development in different range of automation products
• Testing of control panels after the software integration
• Conduct Factory Acceptance test as per the procedure
• Provide Service support to customers as and when required
• Involve in project installation and commissioning at customer site
• rigorously follow documentation policy
• Understanding and implementing the quality procedures of company
• Maintain time sheets for all projects and service visits & also Expense Report.
• Prepare an MOM at the end of a project OR service visit
• Bring difficulties and problems faced in a project to the attention of higher ups
• Assist company in reducing the costs of the project
• Travel to site at sufficient notice for project execution purposes
• Stay at site for a reasonable period for commissioning purposes
• Maintain activity log/time sheets of all the activities done at site
• Ensure and maintain good reputation with customer
• Report the progress of a project to the team leader/ project manager
  
  

Skills: Understanding of

• 1200 series, S7300 series, S7400 series.
• Human machine interface, Protocols – Modbus, Profibus, Profinet etc.
• Familiar with basic principles of electrical, electronics and computer engineering
• Understanding the product range ACTEMIUM works with
• Knowledge of configuration of different range of automation products
• Familiar with basic principles of electrical, electronics and computer engineering
• To understand the process, process diagrams, and process instruments
• Basic Panel Building and Wiring Skills
• Basic field instrumentation
• Basics of data communication & networking
  
  

Ability to work with

• Siemens Simatic Manager / Rockwell
• SCADA software
• Basics of drives
  
  

Qualification and Experience.

• BE-(EEE) or Diploma in EEE
• At least 3 yrs relevant experience in similar role
• Total Experience – 4 to 8 yrs.
• Systems exposure - Siemens PLC - S7 300,400,.....1200,1500 Wincc Etc. TIA Portal
  
  

Allen Bradley - RS Logix 500,5000, Studio 5000.
