About The Position

• Test bench setup and maintenance of multiple HiL platforms (e.g. wire/connect IO interface from HiL to plant meter and other emulated sub-systems, data acquisition equipment, etc.)
• Support preparation of equipment OEMs model implementation on HiL and integration with F.OS
• Support layout and design of grid model for controls validation tests (defined by tender/code/product team).
• Support configuration, integration, and deployment of Fluence controls and telecommunications to HIL platforms
• Execute/run/automate/troubleshoot tests and produce test report
• Support Controls HIL, Power HIL, system and component testing in the lab
• Ensure lab and testing safety.
  
  

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering (or equivalent) and 3 years of industry experience
• Experience with RTDS, Typhoon HIL (Control Center), OPAL-RT (Hypersim), or other HIL platform and software
• Experience in designing, executing and analyzing test cases for hardware and software validation.
• Familiar with SCADA systems and communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN, UDP etc.
• Understanding of power plant controls and grid code requirements.
• Confident user of electronic systems including but not limited to transducers, amplifiers, power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, A/D converters etc.
