Our software monetization platform supports licensing, entitlement management, and usage analytics and is used by leading software and technology companies to enable their business models, prevent revenue leakage, and gain insight into their software businesses. Our installation software enables safe, reliable delivery experiences, allowing development teams to focus on what matters most.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Product Owner in India to play a key role in the agile development of Software Monetization solutions.

You will drive the development of features and product enhancements and ensure that the 'voice of the business and the customer' are fully represented in the agile process.  You will work with architects, product managers, marketing, and development teams to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met with each product release.  See below for a description of the products you will work on.

Job Description

Working across the Software Monetization product lines, help deliver value through FlexNet Operations, FlexNet Licensing, Installation and Compliance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create user stories by collaborating with product managers, marketing, and engineering. Identify clear acceptance criteria for each
• Work with Product Managers to create roadmaps and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories
• Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision and scope for each feature, and then gather the technical details of the feature breakdown
• Actively participate in the agile processes, as a team product owner
• Remove/mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of sprint goals
• Support Product Management with customer research and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders on feature development
• Be a product ambassador and expert among stakeholders - engineers, managers, and technical support staff
• Support customer interactions, specifically when validating new functionality or collating information about enhancement requests or defects
  
  

Required Skills And Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical product experience
• Technical experience developing and deploying complex on-prem and SaaS software products
• Agile software development experience, including operating as an agile Product Owner or Technical Product Manager
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills, and attention to detail
• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, especially applied to understanding and communicating product ideas to teams and to stakeholders
• Flexibility with working times as some meetings with our US-based teams may fall into the evening hours
• Ability to collaborate actively as a Product Management and cross-functional team member
