Job Title: Product Engineer, Gaming

Location: Bangalore, India (Full-Time In-Office)

We are looking for high-IQ, product-minded engineers who can think from first principles, move fast, and take end-to-end ownership of systems that directly impact player experience, retention, and monetization.

The Role:

You’ll be the person who collapses the gap between idea and evidence.

From the first whiteboard discussion to the first playtest to the first feature shipped, you own that arc end-to-end. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Art and Engineering to turn hypotheses → prototypes → production systems.

This is not a pure coding role. It’s not a pure product role.

What You'll Do:

• Ideation & Concept Testing: Rapidly prototype game ideas in days, define clear hypotheses, instrument for signal, and decide fast—iterate or kill.
• Prototyping & 0→1 Ownership: Own prototype lifecycle end-to-end (scope → build → playtest → decision) with a focus on speed and learning.
• Feature Development & System Ownership: Take validated ideas to production, ensuring clean execution, minimal drift, and strong launch readiness.
• Core Game Systems: Build scalable, config-driven systems (progression, economy, live ops, FTUE) optimized for fast iteration.
• Experimentation & Data: Ship features with instrumentation, run experiments, and iterate based on real player behavior and metrics.
• Product Thinking: Evaluate what to build (and what not to) using data, player insight, and first-principles thinking.

What You'll Bring:

Must-Haves:

• Strong engineering background (CS fundamentals, system design, debugging); ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies
• Strong product instincts, you’ve built or shipped something and learned from its success/failure
• High IQ with the ability to address significant problems from first principles and in a well-structured way.
• Massive attention to detail, ensuring you don’t miss any minor issues.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in mobile F2P product roles; shipped or operated a live-service title.
• Proven track record of taking a prototype → live feature within a professional games studio environment.
• Hands-on A/B testing, UA creative iteration, and basic ad monetization mechanics.
• Experience with game engines like Unity or similar interactive systems
