Procurement Officer

Job Purpose :

Manage contracts for all categories (IT and non-IT) globally – key countries are UAE, India, Pakistan and the smaller IBG countries (where needed)
 

Key Result Areas :

This involves various activities as below:
1.    Assist in ensuring that CPD is able to fully utilize the “Contract Lifecycle Management” (CLM) 
2.    Ensure contracts assigned (renewal or new) are fully completed, on time 
3.    Ensure regular and open communication with both internal stakeholders and suppliers 
4.    Through personal efforts, upgrade oneself on the latest best practices
5.    Providing monthly inputs for compilation of departmental MIS
6.    Living the values of the bank, strictly adhering to Mashreq code of conduct
7.    Strong contribution in implementation of Oracle Fusion (Phase 2) by early 2027

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and prepared related reports.
• Identify, check and develop all sources of supply.
• Market survey and awareness of new products.
• Procure supplies for ban, keeping quality and competitive price.
• Skilful negotiation with related supplier.
• Communicate effectively with Group / Division and supplier.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Monthly MIS.

Qualifications

• Vendor contract management experience of at least 2 years 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in negotiation and resolution of contract redlines
• A good understanding of Mashreqs legal requirements on a vendor contract
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to create strong customer satisfaction
• Ability to execute in a demanding and fast paced environment
