Amazon is a highly data driven company highly passionate about its customers. In this context it is vital to ensure the customers always get their orders on time and with quality. The processes at the FCs are largely manual involving large numbers of associates. One of the most critical roles is that of a process assistant who mentor/guide the associates towards ensuring meeting the customer expectation by following our standard work practice keeping safety & quality in mind.

Key job responsibilities

  • Daily Management of shift:
  • Administrative management of associates
  • Job allocation to associates
  • Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety.
  • Monitor status of counts and problem solve queues
  • Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
  • Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
  • Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis
  • Stand-in for Team Lead/Area Manager

Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head, with tools provided to support these requirements.

We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.

As a frontline leader, to understand the ground reality, you will be expected to work with and help associates, which may occasionally include safely lifting heavier items and shipments with required support.

Work requires the leader to go where value is being created in the operations which involve walking and standing.

About The Team

BLR8 IB is a high inbounding volume dept with demand variations through the course of year. The team includes an Operations manager, Sr area managers, Area managers, Team leads and process assistants,.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
