As a Program Manager supporting the Mobilization Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of site transitions—from the operational readiness of new launches (FDOB) to the strategic decommissioning of legacy spaces (LDOB).
This role sits within the Core Delivery Team, advising on and owning the site’s launch and operational strategy. You will work closely with Workplace Design & Delivery (WDD) and draw on expertise from Internal Comms, Culture Clubs, Public Relations, and Site Ops.
This is a high-visibility position requiring the maturity to interact with senior leadership to work effectively with regional Site Hub teams and diverse Enabling Functions.
Key Responsibilities
The Program Manager will be highly visible, interacting frequently with senior business stakeholders. We are looking for a self-starter with the executive maturity to manage a project of this scale and visibility.
Core Program Activities:
Strategic Oversight: Act as Program Manager for identified workstreams, providing regular updates to the core project team.
Operational Readiness: Monitor and coordinate all activities to ensure the space is fully operational and optimized for the community.
Site Advocacy: Maintain a deep understanding of the building’s design features, amenities, and USPs to effectively articulate the value proposition to users.
FDOB & Beyond: Lead the strategy for the highly visible FDOB event—potentially hosting senior global leadership—and manage "Day 2" adoption and Hypercare.
Program Management Strategy & Planning:
Exhaustive Upfront Planning: Utilize the REWS Framework to build a roadmap that outlines the program strategy and the "Why" for Googlers across BLR.
Resources: Create the templates, checklists, and frameworks needed to communicate and deliver the program effectively.
Stakeholder Interaction: Define engagement models for Vendor Partners, Site Ops, Mobilization, Service lines, Comms etc.
Transition & Consolidation: Manage the transition of data and activities to the BAU Ops team, including strategies for floor consolidation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Stakeholder Analysis: Identify and analyze groups impacted by the move to tailor engagement.
Space Champions: Recruit and engage "Site Champions" to advocate for the program, manage community anxieties, and drive excitement for both those moving and those remaining in current sites.
Communication & Feedback:
Comms Strategy: Partner with Internal Comms and PR to manage messaging, timelines, and "What’s Changing" documentation.
Immersion Plan: Drive excitement through tours, mock-ups, and familiarization activities.
Pulse Checks: Execute surveys, focus groups, and forums to measure sentiment both pre- and post-opening.
FDOB & Transition to BAU
Hypercare: Provide critical, increased support during the initial weeks of opening.
Long-term Adoption: Support the continued evolution of the office culture to ensure the space meets its intended community goals.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic foresight and operational grit, specifically tailored to large-scale corporate real estate environments.
Professional Experience: 10–12 years of proven experience in Program or Project Management, specifically within Corporate Real Estate, Workplace Services, or Facilities Operations.
Domain Expertise: A deep understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a building launch, from construction handover through to BAU (Business as Usual) and operational mobilization.
Strategic Planning: Demonstrated mastery in Exhaustive Upfront Planning. You should be comfortable building complex roadmaps, defining frameworks, and creating the toolsets required to track progress at scale.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to navigate and influence senior executive stakeholders. You must possess the "executive presence" to communicate complex project updates clearly and confidently to global leadership.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills: High emotional intelligence with the ability to manage community anxieties during change. You have a knack for storytelling—articulating the "Why" and the "USP" of a physical space to diverse audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively with diverse, multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Design, IT, HR, PR, and Vendor Partners) to achieve a unified goal.
Operational Maturity: A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity. You can pivot quickly when priorities shift—especially during high-stakes events like FDOB—while maintaining a focus on long-term operational health.
Change Management: Experience in organizational change, specifically in managing occupancy, stacking strategies, and floor consolidation efforts.
