Job Description

• Hydraulic System engineering, component sizing, testing & validation for Underground Exploration (Mining) Equipment / Trucks/ Drill Rigs. Deputed to Epiroc Nashik division.
• VAVE activities
• Take ownership of the drilling products by addressing the production/ field issues
• Hydraulic circuit design and aggregates selections.
• Analysing the existing Design and recommend improvements in terms of cost/ energy efficiency without affecting basic performance requirements.
• Perform research on technology to develop new products.
• Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D assembly drawings
• Performing\checking BOM changes and ECNs
• Value addition and suggestions for improvements as applicable
• Following the design procedures, instructions and standards like ISO, DIN etc..
• Onsite support during proto-typing and testing; Open for travel to Nashik as on when needed
• Reporting to the Manager in a timely and efficient manner
• Complying to company policies and follow company values and business code of practice
  
  

Mission

To provide value added design services based on the project or task assigned to him\her including component\sub-system design, BOM changes\ECNs and managing projects ensuring quality, on time delivery in full and efficiency with an objective of achieving customer satisfaction according to the set procedures and guidelines as applicable complying to all the required company policies and values

Experience Requirements:

• 10-14 yrs. of experience – Mining / Earth moving equipment /off road vehicles preferably on Hydraulic system engineering of mobile Hydraulics.
  
  

Education:

• BE / BTech / ME – Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
  
  

Tool knowledge:

• Hands on Experience in Creo, Autocad.
• Good to have atleast one simulation software
• Experience working on PLM system
  
  

Knowledge Requirement:

• Good knowledge on Hydraulic System Design – Preferably on mobile hydraulics.
• Good knowledge of Hydraulics and Engineering materials.
• Have Knowledge / exposure to Trouble shooting and testing of Hydraulic Systems.
• Knowledge of design standards
• Vehicle Mechanics & Integration.
• Modelling and detailing.
• Preparation & release of BOM and Engineering change management.
• Basic project management knowledge.
• Experience on Hydraulic simulation as additional knowledge
