Job Description

As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you will own and run ShopDeck's own paid acquisition on Meta and Google — the campaigns that bring D2C sellers into our funnel. You will plan, launch and optimize lead-generation campaigns end to end, with direct ownership of budget, cost per lead (CPL) and customer acquisition cost (CAC).

This is a full-funnel role, not pure media buying. You will be measured not just on lead volume and CPL, but on the quality of leads and how well they convert downstream — so you'll work closely with sales, analytics and creative to connect ad spend to the sellers who actually sign up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and optimize ShopDeck's performance campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads to generate qualified seller leads.
  • Own CPL and CAC efficiency, pacing spend against a fixed monthly acquisition budget.
  • Optimize for lead quality and downstream conversion (lead → demo → signup), not just top-of-funnel volume.
  • Build and maintain conversion-event tracking and signal feedback loops — feeding qualified-lead events into Advantage+ and Google smart bidding to sharpen platform optimization.
  • Own audience strategy, creative testing and landing/form optimization to lift both lead quality and conversion rate.
  • Analyze funnel data and real-time dashboards (CPL, lead→demo, demo→signup) to identify efficiency and quality levers.
  • Run structured experiments across audiences, creatives, bids and budgets, with clean reads and clear conclusions.
  • Partner with the creative team to brief, test and iterate ad creative against performance.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews and communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales / inside-sales, analytics and creative to close the loop between ad spend and seller quality.

Skillset

Paid Media: Hands-on Meta Ads and Google Ads campaign management, optimization and scaling

Lead & Demand Generation: Lead-gen / demand-gen campaign design; generating qualified seller leads at volume

Performance Optimization: CPL and CAC optimization; budget pacing and efficiency against a fixed monthly spend

Funnel & Conversion: Full-funnel thinking — lead → demo → signup; conversion-event tracking and signal feedback loops to the platforms

Analytics: Funnel data analysis, dashboard interpretation and performance trend identification

Experimentation: Structured testing across audiences, creatives, bids and budgets with clean reads

Creative Collaboration: Briefing and iterating ad creative against performance data

Business Metrics: Understanding of CPL, CAC, conversion rate, lead quality and spend efficiency.

Reporting: Weekly / monthly performance reviews and actionable recommendations

This role is not limited to media buying. Spend is optimized against the full funnel — CPL, lead quality, conversion to signup and overall CAC — so that every rupee of budget brings in not just more leads, but better sellers.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A data-driven performance marketer with hands-on Meta and Google Ads experience who can independently run lead-generation campaigns, optimize CPL and CAC against a fixed budget, and think in full-funnel terms — connecting ad spend to lead quality and downstream conversion rather than clicks alone.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Performance Marketing.
  • Graduate from Tier 1/ Tier Colleges
  • Hands-on experience running Meta Ads and Google Ads, ideally on lead-generation / demand-generation campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of CPL, CAC, conversion rate and budget efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of conversion tracking and event-based optimization (pixels, offline/qualified-lead conversions, Advantage+ / Google smart bidding).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable interpreting dashboards and turning data into action.
  • Ability to design and read clean experiments across audiences, creatives, bids and budgets.
  • Understanding of D2C / e-commerce funnels, buyers and market demand.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and data storytelling skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined and result-oriented.

Why This Role

You will own ShopDeck's growth engine end to end — the acquisition channel that feeds the entire business — with direct ownership of budget, CPL and the quality of sellers entering the funnel, and the analytics exposure that comes with it.
