Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Developer to support enhancement, maintenance, integration, and upgrade activities for enterprise PeopleSoft applications. The resource will work closely with functional teams, architects, business users, and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions across PeopleSoft Financials, FSCM.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations within PeopleSoft applications.
- Develop and maintain: Application Engine programs PeopleCode Component Interfaces Integration Broker services SQRs BI Publisher reports PS Queries Fluid pages/components
- Perform retrofitting and remediation during PeopleTools and application upgrades.
- Support integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and middleware technologies.
- Analyze technical requirements and prepare Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Optimize SQL and application performance in Oracle database environments.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards and best practices.
- Support deployment and migration activities using Change Assistant, DPK, and migration tools.
- Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement analysis and solution delivery.
- Assist in testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production validation.
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft development.
- Expertise in: PeopleCode Application Engine Component Interface Integration Broker SQR BI Publisher Application Packages
- Strong SQL and Oracle database knowledge.
- Experience with PeopleTools 8.5x/8.6x.
- Experience in PeopleSoft Fluid UI development.
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and image adoption.
- Knowledge of web services, REST/SOAP integrations, JSON/XML processing.
- Experience with source control and migration management.
