People Technology Sr. Analyst, Assurant – India
The People Technology Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing Workday reporting, security, and core HR modules across global business units. The role ensures accurate data, secure access, and actionable insights while enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable People processes.
This role partners with global stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions, maintain system controls, support enhancements, and drive continuous improvement across Workday and related People Technology platforms.
This position will be in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Chennai at our India location.
Work Hours - 5:30 PM IST - 2:30 AM IST
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Configure and support Workday modules including HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence (30%)
- Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business decision-making (20%)
- Administer Workday security framework including roles, domains, and business process security policies (15%)
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ensure data accuracy across systems (10%)
- Support integrations (EIBs, APIs, inbound/outbound feeds) including monitoring and troubleshooting (10%)
- Troubleshoot system issues, resolve production tickets, and support releases including SIT/UAT testing (10%)
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives (5%)
What are the requirements needed for this position?
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience working with Workday
- Strong experience in Workday Reporting, including complex reports, dashboards, and calculated fields
- Hands-on experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Time Tracking, and Absence
- Experience managing Workday security framework (roles, domains, business process policies)
- Exposure to integrations (EIBs, APIs) and data validation processes
- Experience supporting production issues, ticket resolution, and system enhancements
- Experience working with global stakeholders and HR systems

Technology Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in Workday (Reporting, Security, HCM modules)
- Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, APIs, interfaces)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Familiarity with data governance, audit controls, and compliance practices
