Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chess Trainer/Instructor to conduct engaging online training sessions for students of varying skill levels. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of chess fundamentals and strategies, along with the ability to teach concepts clearly in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct live online chess training sessions (individual and group classes)

Teach chess fundamentals, openings, middlegame strategies, and endgames

Design structured lesson plans based on student skill levels

Analyze games and provide constructive feedback

Track student progress and suggest improvements

Prepare training materials, puzzles, and practice exercises

Maintain a positive and interactive learning environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of chess concepts and strategies

Prior experience in teaching or coaching chess (online/offline)

Good communication and presentation skills

Comfortable using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

Ability to engage students across different age groups

FIDE rating or participation in tournaments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Certified chess coach (optional but preferred)

Experience training beginners to intermediate/advanced players

Familiarity with online chess platforms (e.g., Chess.com, Lichess)

Work Schedule

Flexible hours (weekends and evening availability preferred)

Session-based engagement (hours may vary based on batch size)

Compensation

Competitive, based on experience and number of sessions
