MuleSoft Integration Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive integration architecture aligned with enterprise standards and business goals.
• Design and implement API-led connectivity architecture (System, Process, Experience layers).
• Lead the development and deployment of MuleSoft applications and APIs on Anypoint Platform.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.).
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for MuleSoft deployments.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance across APIs and integrations.
• Perform code reviews, design reviews, and performance tuning for MuleSoft applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership.
• Define best practices for error handling, logging, monitoring, and observability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, DataWeave)
  • API design (RAML/OpenAPI)
• Extensive experience in:
  • AWS cloud architecture and services
  • Integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Messaging, Event-driven architecture)
• Proficiency in:
  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Maven, XML, JSON, DataWeave
• Experience with:
  • Microservices architecture
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes – optional but preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
  • Security standards (OAuth2, JWT, TLS, etc.)
  • API lifecycle management and governance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
