Role Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Full Stack Developer to join our Global IT Development Team at Ceres’ Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bangalore.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale web and desktop applications supporting Ceres’ operations across the United States, Caribbean, Pacific, and New Zealand. You will work across both front-end and back-end layers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Success in this role will mean building robust, user-friendly applications that power mission-critical operational workflows and improve overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
  • Build responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.

Backend, APIs & Performance

  • Develop secure, high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and database solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to internal standards and industry best practices.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Create and maintain system design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Contribute to evaluating and adopting new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in full-stack development using Microsoft technologies.

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, and Azure.
  • Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, database design, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-native application development and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of GIS, disaster recovery, or field operations systems is an advantage.
