The Senior Director of Marketing for SAP Concur India is responsible for supporting aggressive Net New revenue targets for SAP Concur as well as revenue growth with our install base.
This role is responsible for driving demand generation across New Business and the Install Base and as well as pipeline acceleration programs, while ensuring that Market Unit-specific priorities are successfully supported.
You will plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation and assist in converting sales opportunities into closed business. This should be done via execution of local, regional and global initiatives in close partnership with Sales, Client Success and Global / APAC Marketing.
This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on pipeline performance, conversion efficiency, and the overall growth strategy for the India business.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Pipeline & Growth
- Own marketing contribution to New business and Client pipeline and revenue across India
- Deliver against quarterly targets with clear pacing, performance tracking, and recovery plans
- Improve conversion rates and pipeline quality through more targeted, insight-led engagement
Define SAP Concur India Marketing Strategy
- Build and execute a segmented growth strategy for net new and install base, informed by account intent, propensity, account value and lifecycle stage
- Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning in close alignment with Sales and key stakeholders
Lead Integrated Execution
- Orchestrate corporate and local programs across digital, PR, events, lifecycle, and ABX channels
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution – from owning delivery end-to-end to unblock execution challenges, pressure-test thinking, or accelerate delivery as needed.
- Net new growth marketing: lead integrated demand generation and funnel acceleration programs to meet pipeline targets and generate net new logo, including supporting Top 100 and ABX initiatives
- Customer Marketing: lead integrated demand generation for add-on pipeline targets, and execute lifecycle marketing programs for India customers
- Collaborate with APAC partner marketing lead to ensure execution of partner marketing activities are aligned with New Business growth priority areas
- Strong partnership with Corporate and APAC teams to deliver integrated campaigns in market
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a member of the APAC Marketing leadership team, contributing to overall strategy, planning, and performance discussions
- Partner closely with Sales and Client Success to align on account priorities, net new growth and expansion strategies, and pipeline goals
- Work closely across Concur Corporate and APAC teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Collaborate across SAP Concur and SAP Marketing teams to drive alignment, share insights, and scale high-impact programs
Build Performance Discipline
- Establish clear KPIs across pipeline, conversion, and ROI
- Improve forecast accuracy and pipeline predictability
- Use data and insights to continuously optimize performance
- Managed assigned marketing budget including invoicing process
What Success Looks Like
- Own delivery of both marketing-influenced and discrete pipeline within quarterly targets, with clear accountability for pacing, gaps, and recovery actions
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen by linking marketing activity directly to pipeline, conversion, and revenue outcomes — not just engagement metrics
- Improve conversion performance across the funnel (engagement → pipeline → revenue), driving higher-quality, more efficient growth
- Increase expansion revenue and multi-product adoption through targeted, insight-led strategies across the install base
- Bring a business-first mindset to decision-making, prioritizing investment based on impact, efficiency, and return
- Build strong alignment with Sales and Client Success, reflected in shared ownership of pipeline creation, progression, and close
What You Will Bring
- 12–15+ years of experience in B2B SaaS growth marketing, with exposure to lifecycle marketing
- Experience owning pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Strong understanding of demand generation and account-based marketing strategies
- Ability to span from strategy to hands-on execution
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
- Experience leading or mentoring teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications required - BA or equivalent in Marketing & Business preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation (Marketo or a similar tool), and business intelligence tools (Tableau) ideal, but not essential
