Leads the execution & change of manufacturing processes while supporting production.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.
Participate & Drive LEAN initiatives for process improvements.
Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and product cycles.
Maintain the manufacturing engineering system on part routing and standards.
Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPI’s and for process improvements.
Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.
Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.
Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance.
Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships.
Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area.
Metrics
Main metrics applicable for this operation are: EHS: 0 OSHA; 100% On time closure for Findings and Concerns. Quality: Reduction in total cost of quality per business guidelines. VCP: Drive to completion VCP projects. Improve labor efficiency by 10%. Inventory: Meet inventory targets. Service: Schedule attainment above 90% to guarantee stock availability.
Qualifications/Requirements
BS Degree in Engineering or Technology Field.

Prior experience as a process leader and with implementing productivity tools.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadline.

Strong oral and written communication skills (Bilingual)
