Job Description

Title: Manual QA (API Testing)

Location: Bangalore, Onsite

Salary: 7-8 LPA

Job Summary:

• Analyze product requirements, user stories, and API specifications before development is complete.
• Participate in backlog refinement sessions to identify test scenarios, missing acceptance criteria, and potential risks.
• Test REST APIs using Postman by validating:
• Request payloads
• Response structure and business rules
• HTTP status codes
• Authentication and authorization
• Pagination, filtering, sorting, and search
• Rate limiting and timeout scenarios
• Negative and boundary conditions
• Create Postman Collections and reusable environment variables for regression testing.
• Verify data consistency between API responses and the database using SQL queries.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
• ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
