Manager - System Testing Electrical

Job Description

• Develop and maintain comprehensive system-level test plans, test procedures, and validation strategies for Ohmium products.
• Execute system validation and verification testing activities to ensure compliance with functional, performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, tools, and test frameworks to improve testing efficiency and repeatability.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve product quality and performance.
• Support root cause investigations and failure analysis activities, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Generate detailed test reports and communicate testing outcomes, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Support certification, compliance, and regulatory testing activities as required for product qualification and market readiness.
• Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
• Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical discipline (required).
• Minimum 8 to 15 years of experience in system testing, validation, verification and test automation in industrial, energy, automotive, aerospace, process industries or related engineered systems environments.
• Experience developing test plans, executing validation programs, analyzing test data, and generating technical reports.
• Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, driving technical execution and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization
• Experience with automated test systems, data acquisition systems, scripting, and test framework development.
• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector a plus.
  
  

The Manager - System Testing provides leadership in the validation and verification of hydrogen electrolyzer systems through comprehensive test planning, automation, execution, analysis, and reporting activities. This role ensures system performance, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering and operational teams to support product development and continuous improvement.

This role is expected to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support the growth and development of the System Testing organization as it scales.
