Job Summary

The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining supply plans that ensure product availability while optimizing inventory, production, and distribution costs. The role acts as a key link between demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to align capacity and material availability
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and excess stock
• Track supplier lead times, production constraints, and capacity limitations
• Participate in S&OP / IBP processes and planning reviews
• Identify supply risks and propose mitigation plans
• Analyse variances between planned vs actual supply and recommend improvements
• Maintain planning data and reports using ERP systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning
  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills; working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / APO / Kinaxis)
• Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business
• Certification in Supply Chain (APICS / CPIM) is an advantage
  
  

• 2- 5 years of experience in supply planning / production planning / inventory planning
• Experience in Quick Commerce Preferred
