Role Overview

Would you like to lead the engine of a global finance powerhouse? As eBay establishes its strategic Hub in Bengaluru, we are seeking a high-caliber leader to serve as the Global Process Owner for our Accounts Payable operations. This role is responsible for the integrity of over 110,000 annual invoices totaling $4.6B in spend. If you are a strategic thinker with deep SAP expertise who can coach a distributed team across India and the US while driving world-class BPO performance, this is your opportunity to make a global impact.

The Impact You Will Make

• Global Payout & Volume Governance: Architect the strategy for $4.6B in annual global payouts; you will transform our BPO partner (Genpact) into a high-performing extension of eBay by holding leadership accountable to rigorous SLAs and payment accuracy standards.
• Distributed Team Leadership & Mentorship: Drive the "multiplier effect" by coaching and managing a global team across two regions (India and the US); you will provide hands-on mentorship to your US-based and India-based reports to ensure operational alignment across time zones.
• Compliance & Strategic Integration: Serve as the global lead for critical statutory requirements, including US 1099 transmissions and UK Duty to Report, while acting as the primary P2P advisor for high-priority M&A process migrations and SOX audits.
  
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Experience: 8–10+ years in Accounts Payable or Treasury within a Global Shared Services (GSS) or Captive environment; including 3–5+ years of senior people management.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SAP (ECC or S4HANA) and global banking platforms is required. You must have experience leading large-scale payment automation and system integration projects.
• Education: CA, ICWA, or MBA (Finance) required. *
• Location & Availability: Based in Bengaluru (Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite). As we are rapidly scaling this global hub, immediate availability or a 30-day notice period is required to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
• Global Flexibility: This role requires occasional flexible hours (early mornings or late evenings) to effectively manage the US-based team and coordinate with global stakeholders.
