YOUR MISSION:
Position Summary: The Manager O&O eCommerce Site Merchandising for puma.com will manage visual merchandising on the website and app and drive user’s online shopping journey through innovative storytelling. The right candidate for this role will blend an eye for social, sports and fashion trends, with an strong appreciation for data. They understand the evolving consumer preferences are able to reflect that on site. They will need to envision compelling and clear ways to tell product stories through site merchandising and be able to implement these with the toolset provided.
Report to: Lead O&O eCommerce
Key Objectives:
Be active on the latest sports/fashion trends and translate them on website, seamlessly presenting puma products in innovative ways.
Plan and manage the merchandising calendar for Puma.com, defining event-specific refreshes, campaigns, promotions, and launches.
Handle key product launches for the season, adhering to strict site guidelines and working closely with CRM, Social, and Demand Generation teams.
Define and manage site navigation, filtering, category management, and product assortment to optimize customer discoverability, purchase flow, and product positioning.
Strategically align homepage content, landing pages, and category pages to tell a cohesive story, consistent with brand and site priorities.
Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, SEO, Search, CRM, Digital Marketing, Affiliates, Merchandising, Category, Cataloging, Customer Care, Warehouse, and Product Management, to drive continuous site improvements.
Take ownership of all website merchandising tools.
Monitor and enhance the performance of the homepage and all other promotional spaces throughout the site.
Regularly review key competitors and other PUMA regional websites to identify opportunities for improvement.
Use Google Analytics data to determine and implement optimizations on the website.
Manage inventory optimization for the site by coordinating with the merchandising, catalog, and category teams.
Work closely with the category and warehouse teams to manage launch article inventory effectively.
Key Performance Indicators:
CTR (Click-Through Rate) of homepage banners and stories.
Increase in Add-to-Cart actions.
100% on-time launches and events
Organizational Relationships:
Internal: Ecommerce, Product, Merchandising, Demand, Customer Experience Team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; adaptable and responsive to rapid change.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Understanding of current trends and their relevance to our customers.
