Role Overview (Leadership at Baxter)
This role leads global initiatives to transform Baxter’s Master Data Management (MDM) organization. The Senior Manager demonstrates leadership at scale by driving results through personal accountability, enabling high‑performing teams, and influencing across functions and regions in alignment with Baxter’s leadership expectations.

  • Influences senior stakeholders across IT and business functions to align on priorities and outcomes.

  • Connects business needs, data strategy, and technology capabilities to drive enterprise value.
  • Partners effectively with third‑party vendors and global teams to achieve strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead global MDM IT initiatives across design, build, validation, training, and implementation.
  • Define and execute clear, outcome‑focused project plans aligned to business priorities.
  • Manage delivery across internal teams and external partners to agreed service levels.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions effectively to senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment across regions, time zones, and functional stakeholders.


Experience and Capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership in large‑scale Master Data Management programs.
  • Strong functional expertise in MDM domains, including Things and Party data.
  • Hands‑on experience across MDM workstreams: process definition, data modeling, data quality, integration, testing, migration, and change management.
  • Experience with MDM platforms such as Syndigo (Riversand) or equivalent, and ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
  • Proven delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.


Education and Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Data, or related field (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of leadership experience delivering complex, global MDM programs ($2M+).
  • Business and/or Project Management certifications preferred.
