About The Role

M3 Communications, a division of SA Associates (Law Firm), is seeking a Legal Associate to support advisory work at the intersection of legal strategy, communications, regulatory awareness, and public affairs. The role involves conducting legal research, analyzing regulatory and reputational risks, and providing legal insights that support strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.

This is an on-site position based in Bengaluru and is ideal for candidates who enjoy research-driven work, independent analysis, and solving complex legal and regulatory challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on media law, corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and public policy.
• Analyze legal and reputational risks related to public communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare legal memoranda, advisory briefs, research notes, and internal reports.
• Monitor legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments relevant to communications, corporate governance, and compliance.
• Provide legal perspectives on messaging, public positioning, and stakeholder communications.
• Assist in reviewing contracts, policies, and other legal documentation as required.
• Collaborate closely with communications, strategy, and legal teams to support client advisory projects.
• Maintain strict confidentiality while exercising sound professional judgment.
  
  

• LLB or equivalent law degree.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and legal drafting skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex legal and regulatory information into clear, practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment.
  
  

• Experience in media law, corporate law, commercial law, regulatory law, public policy, compliance, or litigation.
• Prior experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, policy institution, or legal research environment.
• Familiarity with communications, public affairs, reputation management, or stakeholder engagement is an advantage.
• Interest in legal advisory, strategic communications, and multidisciplinary consulting.
