What will you be doing?

As a Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead), you will lead a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. You will apply business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies using quality processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Designing, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Understanding of Test Architect flow and manage data warehouse solutions on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Plan, understand impact across layers and present Test Plan / Strategy for Platform product factoring stability and Performance.
• Participate in release planning and managing product releases or project components from QA perspective.
• Establish and enforce best practices in quality engineering, including Testing standards, automation testing, and documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior QA engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Participate in test strategic planning, testing phase, and cross-functional leadership discussions.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend improvements to enhance product reliability.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ - 11 years of experience in Test lead engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native data solutions.
• Experience with automation tools/frameworks like Pytest, JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or custom scripting in Python.
• Experience in Python, PySpark, Basic Unix and SQL for test data processing and analytics.
• Proven experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Understanding Agile test methodologies and defects tracking tool such as Jira.
• Experience using ETL tools and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Control-M
• Experience in database testing and writing SQL to validate data integrity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization best practices.
• Experience in Agile environments and in Data Analytics, Market Research for Retail domain.
• Experience using ETL tools and defect lifecycle management
• leadership roles and cross-functional collaboration.
