Honeywell Connected Enterprises (HCE) is expanding and seeks a Lead Project Engineer for the HCE Program Management Office (PMO). You will lead drive the Forge Platform portfolio as well as be responsible for delivering software solutions in our HCE Portfolio that power our growth. This role reports to the Director of PMO in Atlanta, GA or Bangalore India.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years of program management experience in next-generation software product development. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build influential partnerships are essential.
Responsibilities
The Lead Project Engineer will work closely with Line of Business leaders and business units to ensure that large cross-organizational programs are planned appropriately and executed within the committed timeline and budget, collaborating with Global Business Enterprise leaders, partners, and cross-functional leaders.
Drive the execution of the HCE Software Product Development Lifecycle on the Forge Platform by ensuring the entire product lifecycle process is followed, including business case development, proof of concept, development, testing, and full product launch.
Work closely with stakeholders such as Product UX, Engineering, Customer Support, Product Security, and Customer Success to ensure high-quality customer experiences, resolve issues, and ensure successful product launches.
Recommend and advocate for improvements to existing products in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including software development, product security, product management, and operations to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Possess technical proficiency in software development and leadership skills to guide teams in delivering high-quality software solutions that align with business strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional and operations teams on go-to-market strategy, successful development/testing, and smooth deployment of new products.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
PMP Certification
8+ years of experience in program execution as a Wall 2 Wall project manager.
3+ years of experience managing consulting projects for AI/ML and advanced digital software solutions and verticals
5+ years of experience in proactively managing project budgets

Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage with business leaders at a strategic level

Capability to lead change; build high-performing global teams within a matrix environment and model high-performance standards
Broad multifunctional expertise encompassing technology, marketing, sales, and innovation
Execution skills characterized by persistent drive for results, utilizing effective program management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Results-oriented with a positive attitude
Strong and decisive, capable of making decisions amidst ambiguity
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
Extensive experience in project and large-scale program management
