Position Summary

Do you want to own and shape all the elements of a great game: its setting, structure, rules, story flow, characters, interface design, and modes of play? Would you like to be part of a fun, driven, fast-paced team? PlaySimple Games is looking for Game Designers who can take games all the way from concept development to delivery. If you have a great passion for games, enjoy building things from scratch, and have the ability to break through hurdles to drive ideas through to completion, you’ll love this job.

Responsibilities

• Design, balance and analyse new and existing features.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, artists and engineers to create a fun gaming experience.
• Communicate designs to key stakeholders.
• Create and maintain game documentation.
• Organize and conduct playtests to get feedback for new feature prototypes.

Requirements

• Should have 8+ years of experience in gaming, wherein 2 successful titles have been built and scaled.
• Should be able to take games from concept to live ops, and lead the vision for the games.
• Responsible for all design-related responsibilities and KPI’s for multiple games or a franchise.
• Lead benchmarking and prototyping initiatives across teams to identify new business opportunities and provide proof of concept.
• Responsible for hiring and mentoring of game designers.
• Adept at using AI tools, aware of the industry trends and identifying new opportunities for improving speed, efficiency and quality
