Lead Full Stack Developer AWS Mandatory

Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable full-stack solutions in the retail and consumer order management domain, owning capabilities end-to-end. Build modern, highly scalable applications using JavaScript/React/Vue.js on the frontend and Java with Spring/Camel & Node.js frameworks on the backend. Drive cloud-native development on AWS while ensuring operational excellence, scalability, resilience, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices in a highly collaborative environment with an AI-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications and services.
• Build modern frontend applications using JavaScript, React, and Vue.js.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring, Apache Camel, and Node.js.
• Design and implement automated tests using Cucumber, JUnit, and related testing frameworks.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Design event-driven architectures using JMS, Kafka, DynamoDB, and Amazon MQ.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting using Splunk and SignalFx.
• Own build, release, CI/CD pipelines, and production support activities for team-owned services.
• Maintain engineering hygiene through GitHub workflows, branching strategies, PR reviews, code quality, and collaboration practices.
• Demonstrate an AI-first mindset by leveraging AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor to improve productivity and learning.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and work independently as a stand-alone engineer when required.
• Ensure system stability, incident resolution, and continuous operational improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React and Vue.js.
• Strong backend development experience with Java, Spring Framework, Apache Camel, and Node.js.
• Experience designing and implementing automated tests using Cucumber and JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Experience with event-driven architectures using JMS, Kafka, DynamoDB, and Amazon MQ.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and SignalFx.
